This week I have 2 goals since they are both small, first is to finish my coupon binder! I was using an accordion style coupon holder, than 2, than 2 holders and a bunch of envelopes so I finally gave in to the binder. I really liked the idea of baseball card pages but I just can't bring myself to spend the money on them. I will continue to look for them at yard sales and flea markets but for now I came up with a pretty good idea that's working so far, but I only have half of it done so I'm still carrying the accordion holders and the binder! So this week I WILL get the binder finished!!
My second goal is to start making a weekly menu for our dinners. Every week we go to the grocery store and try to decide there what we are going to eat for the week and spend way to much money. Then we get home and find out we had half of the stuff already and of course it wasn't on sale, Ugh. I still haven't gotten the hang of stockpiling food and finding good deals since the only grocery store around here that doubles will only double up to a dollar, and there's not much food on sale for a dollar, so not much free food. But back to my goal. We usually go to the grocery store on Monday night so during the day on Monday I will go through the cabinets and plan our meals around what I have been able to stockpile and hopefully we will only need to buy meat, produce, and a few other things for the week and cut our bills down.
