New car and Harry Potter

Where did June go?? Actually where is this year going!! Usually by this time of year my work has slowed down and I never get 40 hours, but this year we are still busy so I am working as much as I can in case we do end up slowing down before October, that's why I haven't been able to keep up with this blog much but I'm trying!

We decided we didn't want to put any more money into our truck, and finally went car shopping. We wanted a car mostly to save on gas, and after a lot of shopping and a lot of number crunching we ended up leasing a 2010 Toyota Corolla Sport, awe are only spending about $20 a month more between the car payment and insurance which works out great since we will be spending so much less on gas! Now we can go see our families that live farther away without worrying about our vehicle falling apart. Ha! And we are already planning a trip to Florida :-) Here's Princess Sophia:(Derek's not to pleased with the name! lol)





OK so yes this is a pretty bad picture but i am so excited that we have our tickets for the midnight showing of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince!!! I can't wait!! We "bought" them a few weeks ago, the day they went on pre-sale. The best part was we used 2 of our free tickets from the Axe deal K-Mart had last month so they were free!!

Where do I get all my coupons?

Everyone always asks me how I get so many coupons, no I don't buy 50 newspapers every Sunday, and I don't "Dumpster Dive". I get them all from my Grandmother! Her and my Aunt get tons of each insert and then every couple of weeks I get bags and bags full. I also have 2 computers so I am able to get 4 of each Internet coupon that I find I need. But the bulk of then definitely comes from Grandma :) So every couple of weeks my living room floor looks like this for a few hours:

Thanks to my coupons(and Grandma) Boyfriend and I are so close to paying off another one of our credit cards and that much closer to being debt free! I *hope* to have it paid off within the next month.

Monday Goals

I'm finally back on schedule, no more training. Back to working from my couch. :-) So I can finally restart my weekly goals. Lately I have been focusing on cleaning and organizing since my stockpile is growing and seems to be taking over our small apartment! This is what my only closet looks like right now:

Umm, yea I can't find anything when I want it and I'm not even sure what I have. But I do know I need to get it organized!

Redbox!

We finally got not one but two Redboxes just a few blocks away from our home! I'm so excited because not only can you rent movies for only $1, there are always codes out there to get the movies for free! We've already rented about a bunch of movies for free and since everyone keeps asking me for some codes here's what I have right now:

It's been a long time..

It's been a while since I have posted, so here's a little update on the past 2 weeks, I have been in training at work, busy with Boyfriend's races and spring cleaning!

May 22-25
Friday we went out to dinner with Bryon to celebrate both of our birthdays since Boyfriend and Bryon were going away to a race for the weekend and since it was my first weekend alone since the fire my wonderful brother came to stay with me Saturday and Sunday night :-) Saturday the 23rd was my birthday so I had some friends over and we ate pizza, watched lots of movies and drank fishbowls, and I was so excited to find someone else who enjoyed the movie Fear as much as I do! Sunday Nikki and I ate the rest of my awesome ice cream cake that she bought me and watched some great cheesey 80s movies! Later that night my brother cam back with our cousin Anthony for the night. Monday afternoon Boyfriend got home and I honestly can't remember what we did?
