The one with all the pumpkins.

Today is CD6, and AF came back this morning for a few hours along with some pretty strong cramps!! Ugh. Thankfully it only lasted a few hours and now the cramps are gone. 4 more days until I start testing and hopefully not to many more days until I ovulate :)

A couple weeks ago we had our annual trip to the Pumpkin patch! We didn't do the maze and all the other things we usually do because it was a last minute thing, but we still had a lot of fun! My mother wanted to come with us this year so we had to go on a day that wasn't very cold, so when we had a nice Saturday the 3 of us ran up and got some pumpkins and cider:)

Here is some of the pictures from the day♥

I thought he knew my mother was trying to take our picture!! Oh well

CD5

Today is CD5 and AF is finally almost all done. This has seriously been the heaviest AF I have ever had!!! Not sure what is going on there but I like to hope that my uterus is cleaning house to make run for it's new tenant :)

I picked up some Vitamin B6 to add to my prenatal vitamins, and Derek says he is going to do everything he can to make sure it happens this month♥ I really want to give him his Leo baby so I really hope it does!!

I just ordered 40 more OPKs, and will start testing on CD10, and the only thing I will change this cycle is I will BD the first day I get a + OPK instead of waiting until the day after.

Now I must get back to my sweet foster kitten :)

Lot's of baby dust needed!!!

And I'm out.

Saturday morning I woke up and took a pregnancy test right away, I figured if it was negative I wouldn't get to upset since AF wasn't due for another 5 days and it could still be to soon. The test was a definite BFN. I didn't let myself get upset and of course D was so sweet, telling me it was still to early and that he "knows I am pregnant"

I had trouble sleeping that night because I had hurt my arm earlier in the day, but I didn't want to take Motrin PM since I know it causes my temp to drop and I didn't want to mess up my temps so close to AF being due. Well at about 3:30 AM when I was still awake I gave in and took some.

When I woke up at 6:30 and took my temp it was 96.63, I didn't let myself freak out because I just figured the Motrin made it drop. Boy was I wrong. last night, on (what I thought was going to be) CD 25, AF showed up, and brought all her nasty friends! So I had a 24 day cycle?? What?!?!? What is going on with my cycles!! I want my regular 28 day cycles back!! Ugh.

This means my LP was only 10 days. To short again.

I got upset.
Cried.
Ate a huge bowl of ice cream.
And now I'm moving on.
Onto the next cycle.

It was only our first cycle of actually trying, we learned some things we shouldn't do, and some things we will do next time. It hurts that it didn't work, but like Derek keeps reminding me, we aren't giving up. It wasn't a one time offer. I am now on CD2 of our 2nd cycle and we will keep going, until. I. get. pregnant!

We will try again this cycle, skip December, and start trying again after the holidays.

Here we go again!! Bring on the baby dust!!

5DPO (according to me)

Right now I am 5 days past ovulation if I go by what I figure out, but if I go by fertility friend I am 6dpo which would mean I ovulated on CD13 and not CD14 like I thought, this would also mean we didn't BD in time and we missed it :( Here is why I think fertility friend is wrong:

They are saying me temp jumped on CD14(Wed) but when I don't get enough sleep my temp is high in the morning even if it shouldn't be(I think I proved this with my 3 hour night sleep that gave me a temp of 98.5!!!) On Tuesday night our foster kitten slept in the room with us and screamed the whole night! When her screaming wasn't keeping me up, her jumping on the bed and freaking out when she realized we were in it was.

So when I use the temp I actually got in the morning it says I O'd on CD14 but when I knock it down just a few tenths of a degree it says I O'd on CD15, which is when I believe I O'd! This is the day I had slight cramping, fertile CM, and just felt like I was ovulating! Ugh, I will be so upset if I missed the day :(

It is killing me waiting to test!! I just want to know already. I know some people get true positives 7dpo but I don't think I want to try that soon. It will devastate me if I get a false positive and I don't want to upset myself with a negative when it just might be to soon! I plan to wait until at least Saturday. I will still be only 10dpo but I'm hoping I can get an accurate result.

As far as symptoms(I think it's way to soon to feeling any) the only thing I have is sore boobs, but, I am taking this as a sign that it didn't work because they always get sore a week or so before AF shows up :(

So now I wait! 5 more days until I can test!!

CD10

I am going to be updating everyday with my OPK results, how I am feeling on that day, etc. This is so I will be able to remember and reference how I felt on a particular cycle day, so it may be TMI for some people, you can just skip these updates :)

Today is CD10, I used my first OPK of this cycle and it was definitely negative. I don't expect to ovulate until after CD15 but I still wanted to start testing today, just in case!

No cramping.
No spotting.
No sore boobs.
No nausea.
No fertile CM.
No positive OPK.

The one with the (almost) trip to Cali

Saturday morning we woke up super early to take our car to get a long overdue inspection{or we overslept and rushed out of the house with out a shower and not looking so hot} When we arrived at Toyota we were told it would take about 2 hours and they offered us a ride home. Awesome! So glad we didn't have to sit there and wait because when they say 2 hours, they mean 4. On the ride home we realize that we left our keys with them, so that leaves us locked out of our apartment. Ugh. "Okay Mr. Driver, we will now be going to my mothers house." Where I will sit{still not showered} and wait for them to call us.

Luckily it actually only took a little over 2 hours{and my dad made us breakfast in the mean time!} So we made it home with plenty of time to take a shower and meet up with Derek's aunt and uncle to look at a house we *thought* we were going to be putting an offer in on. Needless to say, we did not put in an offer but I think that whole ordeal deserves its own post!!

Sunday morning we woke up and relaxed for a little while and then decided we would go to Panera Bread for some lunch(I loooove their broccoli cheddar soup!!) and then go to AE to look for some jeans. Two pairs of Derek's are practically see through and I only own 1 pair that have giant holes in them(so over the holey jean look!!) I really haven't purchased much clothing since the fire, I guess since I work at home it's not really that important. We found some really good deals! We each got 1 pair of(hole-less) jeans, D got a long sleeved shirt(that we are returning) and I got a long sleeved and a short sleeved top. They were having awesome sales so we made out good :)

After that we attempted to see a movie but nothing was starting soon enough that we wanted to see so we decided since we still don't have a house to buy we would go look up some places and drive around to check out neighborhoods. We had such a great time driving around for hours and talking♥ At one point D somehow put CA into the GPS and we drove for a while before he looked at it again and saw that it said it would take 42 hours to get to our destination!! lol

We drove past a daycare center that had a go cart track in the back yard... Strange, but I have a feeling if we moved down that way our children would end up going to that center!! :)

We stopped at a stop sign to try to figure out which way to go and a car pulled up behind us and started beeping the horn, D said something about being rushed, I said something about "maybe his wife is in labor" and then D said one of those wonderful things that make me smile "well then he should be at home with her and the midwife" That definitely got a high five :) Boy do I love him!!!

Spent the rest of the wonderful night relaxing together and watched Americas Funniest Home Videos and Extreme makeover home edition♥ I just love weekends like this!!

This is the backyard of the day care!! Crazy!!

And this is the building, not a very good picture but we were on the road. The sign says "Day Care"
